Billing & Payments
When you receive an invoice or bill from Accent Urgent Care, it indicates that your insurance company has completed processing your claim and has paid its portion of the bill.
The Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or "request for information" letter you receive from your insurance company will help you understand what was and was not covered, and why you have received a bill from Accent Urgent Care.
Carefully review the bill you receive along with the EOB from your insurance company. The EOB will show your deductible (if you have one), how much has been applied to your deductible, the co-payment for which you are responsible, any charges not covered by your insurance and your current coverage details.
Your health insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. For your benefit, please take the time to understand your policy. Remember that your insurance company, not your doctor, makes the decisions about what services will and will not be covered and paid.
